Over one-inch thick, the board is constructed of solid northern hard rock maple and features the standard Boos Block Cream Finish with Beeswax. The Boos block cream penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaving a silky wax barrier to lock moisture in, and allows your board to be used as a cutting surface. This finish can be maintained with John Boos Mystery Oil or Boos Board Cream.
