Fine routing on the legs artfully accentuates the clean and simple lines of this beautiful kitchen island. For easy leveling, the legs have adjustable glides on the bottom. At just 24" square, this compact kitchen island makes a great addition to spaces large and small.

Please note: This kitchen island comes with a Varnique semi-gloss finish that seals and protects the wood. The Varnique finish gives the piece a fine furniture look and eases maintenance, but is not meant to be cut upon directly. If you require a cutting surface, we recommend the following options:

1. You can purchase a separate butcher block cutting board to use atop the surface of this kitchen island table. We have many butcher block cutting boards to choose from. Click here to view our complete selection.
2. You can sand off the Varnique semi-gloss finish from the top of this kitchen island table (while leaving it on the sides) using a piece of fine steel wool (please consult a finish carpenter if you have questions about how this is best done). If you choose to sand off the surface of your kitchen island table, you will need to then apply food-safe mineral oil to the surface and maintain it as you would an oil finish butcher block.
